Anand is a Law Lecturer for both the Master of Laws LL.M and Bachelor of Laws LL.B programmes for renowned British universities like the University of London (UOL) and Northumbria University (UNN).

He was also an Offshore Course Module Consultant of the renowned British Herriot-Watt University for their Management and Built Environmental for both the Master of Science M.Sc. and Bachelor of Science B.Sc. programmes.

Anand is an Associate Member (ASIArb) of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb).

In 2005, he graduated from the University of London Master of Laws (LL.M London) degree majoring in Commercial & Corporate Law [Insurance Law, Marine Insurance Law, Carriage of Goods by Sea and International Commercial & Comparative Arbitration].

In 2003, he graduated with Second Class Honours from the University of London (UOL) Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B London).

In 2001, he completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in International Construction Management (ICM) from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

Anand is a Civil Engineer by training and was working in the Singapore construction industry from 1991 to 2002. He had graduated in 1991 from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering [B.Eng.(Civil)].

He has been involved in various areas of the construction industry which include design and management of commercial and residential buildings, piling, foundations, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and interior design works. He held various posts from Site Engineer to Project Manager, Construction Manager, Contracts Manager, Commercial Manager etc. He had also handled and prepared cases for both Arbitration and Litigation of claims and disputes.

As a Commercial Manager, he was involved in planning the Insurance and Finance requirements of the companies he worked for; including bank loans, credit lines, bankers guarantees, construction insurance, group insurance, Keyman insurance, Buy-Sell Agreements as well as handling the Dispute Resolution issues including claims preparation, mediation, arbitration, litigation etc.

In 1990, during his undergraduate years, he represented his university as Captain and Anchorman for both the Asia Pacific (held in Singapore) and the Australasian (held in Adelaide, Australia) Debates.

He is also a Trainer and conducts public speaking training for Professionals with materials from Toastmasters International, USA. He has and still is conducting both leadership and communication workshops for professionals (working executives) as well as the Youth Leadership Programme in schools including the NUS High School and National Junior College.
